In Cyberpunk the high note harmony that says "Feel alive" near the end of the song is actually sung by Seonghwa and not San And in Mist the parts of San and Wooyoung are mixed
ATEEZ are beasts!!! They're so talented and their discography is one of the best. They're well-known as one of the best performance groups in K-pop. Stan ATEEZ, you won't be disappointed 👍 PS. Please watch their music video till the last minute, cuz they always gave us a hint of their storyline or a sample of the new song
They have an incredibly varied discography while keeping their identity sound, it really helps that they have their own in-house composing and production team and have the members involved in the process. One most important piece of advice though - if you can, watch live versions of songs. There's a reason they're called the kings of performance :) The majority of their songs were on one or more of the tour setlists and all their tour DVDs are available here on yt, KQ never blocks them. In case you haven't worked it out yet - the one with a deep singing voice is Yeosang and the beauty with a bike Seonghwa. Jongho does indeed have an insane vocal, if you'd like to enjoy it separately I recommend his OST song Gravity and his recent solo Immortal Songs appearance. As for recommendations, I think you might love concert stages of The Ring, Take Me Home and The Real. I'd also go back and watch Cyberpunk and Mist, albeit for quite different reasons :)

Yes, it is hard to ignore them for me right now in this day and age they are the greatest of all time I would just like to say that when I discover them which was before they were a boy group, they were actually putting them together. I was also into stray kids, but ateez did something to me. And gave something to me that , stray kids couldn’t, so I left stray kids behind and went full force with his group, and I was not disappointed and I don’t get me wrong stray kids is good, and I like what they do for my heart belongs to ateez
The one doing a lot of the adlibs in cyberpunk is jongho. While all of them do adlibs at some point if its on the really high end and someone else is singing theres a decent chance its Jongho. That really high note in bouncy you asked about was also him. That poor mist lyric video. Some of the members parts are messed up and half of what they have labeled as san is actually wooyoung, mainly during the chorus. Glad to see you get into Ateez. They're my ult group and Jongho is my ult bias so im always glad to see more people complimenting his talent right from the beginning. I reccomend literally anything from the outlaw album (but Dune is my fav personally) and also Answer. Answer has some really strong jongho vocals and is also the song that got me into Ateez to start with.

(On stage, their persona COMPLETELY Changes so it looks like they’re possessed.) You seem to click with many of their songs, especially the vocal powerhouse that ateez has Aced as a grp, so I suggest ‘Answer’ and ‘Fireworks’ next!! Sadly Leez is no longer producing for either-well sad for fans-he got a job heading production for another company. You can tell Ateez’s current album has been in the works for a while because Leez still had some credits.

Jongho is widely considered the best male vocalist of the 4th gen, and what's really crazy is how good he is live. In universe A they're a modern take on pirates (treasure-seekers) which is why their debut songs are Pirate King and Treasure. In universe Z, their alter-egos, the Halateez (often portrayed in black clothes and fedoras), live in a dystopian world where they are fighting against their government which has banned all forms of art and anything that invokes emotion because they know emotionless people are easier to control. They travel between universes with a special hourglass called the Cromer. They've released 3 album series Treasure, Fever, and The World. In the first two series there was more universe A, but The World has been entirely in Universe Z--you picked three songs from The World. Unfortunately, you watched them out of order. The title track for The World EP 1: Movement was Guerrilla. They were hacking into the airwaves to expose the citizens to music. Halazia is a spin-off. In terms of the chipmunk voice, during the live versions they just dance to that bit with it playing in the background rather than sing it. I’ve seen them live 5 times now, 3 different tours (one had 2 nights) I.e. every time they’ve been to London, and the latest last month when they were part of a ‘super concert’ with other groups in Madrid and got to see Halazia live that time, with Bouncy as well😊 Not sure if anyone said, but there’s extra scenes at the end of the music videos which shows more of the law, as well as short teasers about upcoming songs.

ateez has always had an intense and powerful image (compared to other boy groups who had a more refreshing, cute creative direction) so it really makes sense that all of their songs are so intense and have deep meanings. also their main vocalist, jongho, has what i believe to be the best voice and vocal talent amongst 4th gen kpop. his range is insane, his technique is perfect. he's just beyond reproach. he is always pushing himself and belting insanely high notes in the last chorus of each ateez song, (mind you in the wake of a mind-numbingly difficult choreography). he has even more potential if you let him just sit and sing😭 but their company keeps giving him insanely difficult parts to sing live especially while dancing. it's amazing how well he keeps up though.
also his vocal color/timbre is amazing. he has a smooth brassy voice when he isn't in his higher register and it honestly reminds me somewhat of bruno mars(which is ironic bc that's one of his favorite artists)

Yo también estaba renuente a conocerlos porque ya staneaba varios grupos, pero cuando escuché sus canciones por primera vez me enamoré. Yo los conocí allá por el 2020 cuando recién habían sacado Answer y estaban a punto de hacer comeback con Inception (ambas canciones son mis favoritas, están en mi top 3 canciones de ATEEZ) Desde entonces se volvieron mi ult group ahgjd. Yes, it is hard to ignore them for me right now in this day and age they are the greatest of all time I would just like to say that when I discover them which was before they were a boy group, they were actually putting them together. I was also into stray kids, but ateez did something to me. The one doing a lot of the adlibs in cyberpunk is jongho. While all of them do adlibs at some point if its on the really high end and someone else is singing theres a decent chance its Jongho. That really high note in bouncy you asked about was also him.
That poor mist lyric video. Some of the members parts are messed up and half of what they have labeled as san is actually wooyoung, mainly during the chorus.
Glad to see you get into Ateez. They're my ult group and Jongho is my ult bias so im always glad to see more people complimenting his talent right from the beginning.
I reccomend literally anything from the outlaw album (but Dune is my fav personally) and also Answer. Answer has some really strong jongho vocals and is also the song that got me into Ateez to start with.

Sadly Leez is no longer producing for either-well sad for fans-he got a job heading production for another company. You can tell Ateez’s current album has been in the works for a while because Leez still had some credits.

ATEEZ's storyline involves 2 universes: A and Z. In universe A they're a modern take on pirates (treasure-seekers) which is why their debut songs are Pirate King and Treasure. In universe Z, their alter-egos, the Halateez (often portrayed in black clothes and fedoras), live in a dystopian world where they are fighting against their government which has banned all forms of art and anything that invokes emotion because they know emotionless people are easier to control. They travel between universes with a special hourglass called the Cromer. They've released 3 album series Treasure, Fever, and The World. In the first two series there was more universe A, but The World has been entirely in Universe Z--you picked three songs from The World. Unfortunately, you watched them out of order. The title track for The World EP 1: Movement was Guerrilla. They were hacking into the airwaves to expose the citizens to music. Halazia is a spin-off. It tells the story from the perspective of the citizens who wanted to be free and feel emotions again. Hala is actually an acronym for Hearts Awakened Live Alive (It's from their song HalaHala and why their alter egos are called Halateez--they're trying to wake the people from their emotionless existence). Zia means light. So Halazia is the people asking Halateez to bring them to the light, a place with art and emotion. Bouncy is the title track for The World EP 2: Outlaw. The members are wanted by the government for starting an insurrection, so they split up. Three groups appear to be making money to run the op: the street fighters are gambling (San actually has a 3rd degree black belt in Taekwondo), the bikers are trafficking chili peppers (in a cold, bland, emotionless world, peppers are a drug), and the last group are working in a garage, posing as undercover police (probably to access intel to help them stay ahead of the real police). Mingi and Hongjoong seem to be key to the op. Mingi starts a shootout (maybe a distraction) while Hongjoong uses the special bullet hidden in the pepper to take out someone who had been chasing them and destroy what looks like Prestige Academy's administration building.

the most unique thing about ateez that they have a very diverse voices the members are so different from each other so they can do anything together and make it amazing...they only have 2 rappers and even the rappers are very very different form each other also they don't have specific genre they do all types of music but all of their music are so epic

In terms of the chipmunk voice, during the live versions they just dance to that bit with it playing in the background rather than sing it. I’ve seen them live 5 times now, 3 different tours (one had 2 nights) I.e. every time they’ve been to London, and the latest last month when they were part of a ‘super concert’ with other groups in Madrid and got to see Halazia live that time, with Bouncy as well😊
Not sure if anyone said, but there’s extra scenes at the end of the music videos which shows more of the law, as well as short teasers about upcoming songs.

ateez has always had an intense and powerful image (compared to other boy groups who had a more refreshing, cute creative direction) so it really makes sense that all of their songs are so intense and have deep meanings.
also their main vocalist, jongho, has what i believe to be the best voice and vocal talent amongst 4th gen kpop. his range is insane, his technique is perfect. he's just beyond reproach. he is always pushing himself and belting insanely high notes in the last chorus of each ateez song, (mind you in the wake of a mind-numbingly difficult choreography). he has even more potential if you let him just sit and sing😭 but their company keeps giving him insanely difficult parts to sing live especially while dancing. it's amazing how well he keeps up though.
also his vocal color/timbre is amazing. he has a smooth brassy voice when he isn't in his higher register and it honestly reminds me somewhat of bruno mars(which is ironic bc that's one of his favorite artists)

Ah the vocal trick Jongho does in the chorus of Mist is a controlled register flip. This is achieved by flipping an elongated vowel sound across the first passaggio (gap between belting register and falsetto).

Yo también estaba renuente a conocerlos porque ya staneaba varios grupos, pero cuando escuché sus canciones por primera vez me enamoré. Yo los conocí allá por el 2020 cuando recién habían sacado Answer y estaban a punto de hacer comeback con Inception (ambas canciones son mis favoritas, están en mi top 3 canciones de ATEEZ) Desde entonces se volvieron mi ult group ahgjd.
